Our History

CiboCi is an innovative Startup, holder of seven patent applications, which, in the will of the Founder, was created to create a vital new generation food, vegetable, healthy, natural and rich in micronutrients and bioactive compounds, obtained from micro-vegetables grown on edible land in a protected environment, able to satisfy and implement a food culture that aims at well-being. This food is produced in Italy with processes capable of guaranteeing environmental sustainability, creating wealth and employment in the territory, looking at the new generations.

2017 – 2020

To achieve his goal, the entrepreneur surrounds himself with managers and specialists who, from 2017 to 2020, research and develop a product that meets the strategic requirements of the project at three different laboratories located in Bolzano, Padua and Reggio Emilia. In 2019, four patent applications are filed.

2020 – 2022

In 2020, a new Experimental Laboratory is built in Montichiari, where all research activities are concentrated and where the manufacturing processes for Cibo-CI are defined. In 2021, three new patent applications are filed and laboratory certifications are obtained.
Cibo-Ci innovative start-up is born.
With the contribution of important institutes, such as Spallanzani Institute in Rivolta d’Adda and the University of Brescia, the standards and ‘health and nutrition claims’ of the product are defined. In 2022 CiboCi takes its first steps in the market.
